Valentine Pictures!!

As promised, here are some pictures from our Valentine's week.

Elle's Valentine's - she did them all by herself and she did a great job! She not only wrote all of the kids names in her class but from MEMORY - no list! She knows every kid in her class and in the order that the teacher has them all in. All 21 kids! It's amazing!

Notice that Ray is the only boy in her class to get a "LOVE" on his card? All the girls LOVE Ray!

Jack working on his Valentine's. This is the first year that we bought Valentine's and didn't make them - he's getting too old for that! :(

Macy's Valentines - she did them all by herself too! 16 Valentine's and never complained one bit. This is actually the first year that ALL three kids made their own Valentine's completely - I usually make them and they just signed their names. But they are all growing up!

Macy was wiped out after her party. She climbed onto my bed and fell asleep with Dixie.

Macy and Elle being silly at lunch. We had lunch with Elle in the lunchroom on Friday. We were at the school ALL day. But it was fun!

Then we stopped by to see Jack at his lunch.

It was a great week, but a BUSY one! I guess every year will be busy like this now but hopefully it will get easier when they are all in the same school next year. We'll see! Happy Valentine's Day to all!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!!!

I just love Valentine's Day! I always have. It's such a simple and sweet day - filled with reds, pinks and whites. What's not to LOVE? Get it LOVE? Valentine's? I know, I'm so funny! :)) Anyway, we've had a great day so far (it's only 8:21am!) We were awoken early this morning by Jack and Elle - Macy was still asleep so we told J and E to lay down with us until Macy got up. Macy is our sleeper, so we are usually waiting for her to wake up. She got up around 7 and everyone was ready for their Valentine's. Jack made a comment to Don that every Valentine's they come into the kitchen and their Valentine's are on the table, but this year there was NOTHING. :)) I didn't even think they noticed and would miss it. Did they really think I would forget Valentine's day? :) This year we did something different. I told Jack to go into my bathroom. He went in, turned on the light and came running out - it's a clue! I had taped a clue onto my bathroom mirror. It read:
Here is your first valentines clue
Find the next one if you’re able
(In case you need a hint where to look,
Try under the table)
Macy and Elle listened intently as Jack read the clue and then they took off to the breakfast table. There they found 3 Valentine heart pens with the next clue. It read:

I am a little cupid
I come to visit thee
And tell you there’s another clue

Hidden in a tree

They ran to one tree in the house - nothing. Next a floor plant. Nothing. Then the girls spotted a tree in the living room and ran to it. There hidden in the tree was Valentine bracelets and necklaces for the girls and an action figure for Jack. Along with this clue that read:

Valentine’s day is lots of fun

Both for girls and boys

See if you can find the next clue

Where we keep our toys

And they were off again. They ran to their rooms and searched and searched. This clue was a little harder. They opened every drawer, searched every place in their room and then Macy found the surprises in the trundle under her bed. It was stickers and stationary for the girls, and another action figure for Jack. Also there was the final clue. It read:

Roses are red
Blue is the sky

You can find the hidden treasure

Where our clothes get dry

Their eyes lit up and they all ran to the laundry room. They opened the doors and didn't see anything. Jack opened the dryer and inside was a note that read:

Jackson, Elle and Macy,
Happy Valentine's Day!
We love you SOOOOO much!
xoxox, Mommy and Daddy

Along with that note, they each found a stuffed animal and heart shaped box of chocolates. They loved the scavenger hunt and asked if we could do that every Valentine's Day. I think we started a new tradition!

Later we have baseball tryouts for Jack - wish us luck!

Hope you are all enjoying your Valentine's Day with your sweeties!!
xoxox, Mila

PS - I will post some pictures later today (hopefully!)
